Intrepid Finance and Commercial Loan Brokers Institute Partner to Bring Modern Lending Technology & Training to Commercial Brokers Nationwide

FISHERS, Ind. – April 21, 2026– Starting this month, commercial loan brokers across the country will have access to a new kind of lending technology. Intrepid Finance, an AI-powered fintech company transforming commercial lending, and the Commercial Loan Brokers Institute (CLBI), the nation’s leading broker education organization, have teamed up to put modern lending tools directly in the hands of brokers who have never had them before.

CLBI will endorse the Intrepid Platform as its preferred fintech solution for non-CRE lending. In return, Intrepid will recommend CLBI as its top training resource for its broker network. The partnership is built on a shared belief: commercial brokers deserve better tools.

For too long, brokers have spent more time on paperwork than on clients. Financial reviews that used to take 10 to 20 hours can now be done in under two minutes on the Intrepid Platform. Deal packaging that once took two to three days can be done in under an hour. The platform has already been used in over $1 billion in transactions. It supports funding from $5,000 to $50 million and has onboarded more than 150 brokers and lenders.

“Commercial brokerage has always been about relationships. But the brokers who win the next decade will be the ones who pair those relationships with real technology. Brokers who invest in their craft deserve technology that keeps pace with their ambition. That is exactly what this partnership delivers,” said Steve Iskander, Founder and CEO of Intrepid Finance.

CLBI was co-founded by Shane Walton, a globally recognized broker coach, and Darrick Brown, a former Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo who started his own brokerage after watching the majority of commercial applicants get denied credit. CLBI teaches brokers the same systems its founders use in their own deals. Its community is exactly the market Intrepid was built to serve.

Intrepid Finance and CLBI partner to bring modern lending technology and broker training to commercial brokers nationwide.”Our brokers are trained to close deals, not to fight technology. Partnering with Intrepid means our graduates step into a workflow that actually works the way the modern lending market demands,” said Shane Walton, Co-Founder and Managing Principal of CLBI.

The partnership launches in April 2026. It includes co-branded broker onboarding, joint webinars, and shared content across both channels. CLBI brokers will also get exclusive promotional access to the Intrepid Platform. A full rollout is planned through mid-year.
